Apostle Terry Holmes
OUR SENIOR PASTOR
Apostle Terry L. Holmes was born September 30, 1965, in New York City. Growing up in the Bronx, he attended Antioch Church of God in Christ in Jamaica, Queens, NY, with his parents Elder Timothy and Shirley Holmes.
After completing high school in 1983, Holmes joined the US Army. He served with the 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, GA and was honorably discharged in March of 1988. Shortly after, Holmes was accepted to the New York State Police Academy.
Upon graduation from the Academy, Holmes was assigned to upstate New York where he soon found a church home, Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, Beacon, NY. The call on his life was recognized by his pastor, Michael Dandridge and others. A faithful member and musician for the church, Holmes was licensed to minister under the tutelage of Pastor Dandridge. In June 1999, with the approval of Bishop James Gaylord, Holmes was ordained an Elder in the Churches of God in Christ.
In September of 2004, Holmes was asked to lead a congregation in Waterbury, CT. Humbled at the request, and with much counsel and prayer, Holmes accepted this call and began leading a small congregation in February 2006.
In February 2011, God blessed Holmes to retire at the age of 45 from serving as a Sergeant for the New York State Police. In October 2015, he married the love of his life, Mary Kaye Holmes, who works diligently beside him in ministry. He is the proud father of three daughters; Charity, Alissa, and Tracey, and two sons; Joshua and Matthew.
Apostle Holmes currently holds a Doctorate of Divinity from CICA International Seminary and his ministry continues to flourish as people are positively impacted and changed by the life-giving Word of God, which he teaches.

Prophetess Holmes is also the award-winning CEO and Co-Founder of Waterbury Community Action Network, Inc., providing local and global community services to underprivileged and marginalized youth and families. It is her desire to reach back and help those who feel helpless and have no voice. This passion led her to launch a school for women in Malawi, Africa where students learn tailoring and baking skills. Through the Mary Kaye Holmes School of Entrepreneurship, she is changing lives for the better through economic sustainability, reducing world hunger, and promoting women's empowerment.
As First Lady of Triumph Christian Center, she is a testament that when God chooses you before the very foundation of the world, no mistake, setback, or tragedy can dismantle the plan of God on your life! Prophetess supports her husband in ministry as he teaches and trains leaders for spiritual deployment.
Prophetess Holmes graduated from New York Law School where she provided pro-bono services to victims of domestic violence and wrongful convictions. She is the recipient of the 2018 Public Interest Law Award for the Mid-Atlantic Region and the 2020 JCI USA Top Young American Award. She currently works in NYC as a corporate lawyer and believes that God has raised her up to be an influential triple-threat for the kingdom in the corporate sector, the community at large, and the church.
Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
