Waterbury Community Action Network

Waterbury Community Action Network (Waterbury CAN) is a 501c3 organization with a mission to provide various programs to enrich and empower the city of Waterbury, CT and surrounding areas.

We provide human and social services to men, women, children, and families such as financial literacy, computer literacy training, tutoring, mentoring, resume building, and job skills workshops.

Waterbury CAN particularly reaches out to ex-offenders, women and families in transition, single mothers, and anyone experiencing a hardship in life.

Each Sunday, Waterbury CAN distributes Panera Bread bakery items to the community immediately following morning worship services (approx. 11:30am). On occasion, we also provide free clothing and household goods as they become available. All items are free and available to members and non-members alike.

Music Ministry

The praise and worship team is comprised of singers dedicated to leading the congregation in heartfelt worship.

Our band plays diligently and skillfully each Sunday, setting an atmosphere that ushers in the presence of God.
